My path to massage therapy began long before I formally trained for it. From a young age, I felt an intuitive calling to work with my hands. As a child I was naturally drawn to art, especially painting, fascinated by how hands could create, shape, and communicate something meaningful without words.
For many years, I set that inner calling aside. Like many people, I questioned whether pursuing what felt natural to me was realistic or even possible. But life has a way of bringing us back to the things we are meant to do.
From Trauma to Testimony
In 2016, I underwent lung surgery, an experience that profoundly changed my perspective on health, the body, and healing. The invasiveness of the procedure, the medications, and the emotional impact of navigating the medical system gave me a deeper understanding of how vulnerable people can feel when their bodies are under stress. That experience became a turning point in my life. It encouraged me to face my fears and finally pursue the work I had always felt called to do.
I graduated from the Pennsylvania Institute of Massage Therapy in March 2017. Since then, I have spent nine years serving clients throughout the Lehigh Valley, first in Bethlehem therapy clinics, where I learned to listen deeply to each person and detangle the patterns of pain the body holds, and then through five years of personalized mobile practice, working closely with regular clients and witnessing significantly improved results from consistent bodywork.
In January 2020, I felt called to study more about cupping therapy at the Costa Rica School of Massage Therapy in Samara, Costa Rica. It was there that I discovered the "keys" to my own healing through advanced cupping and "Lift and Release" techniques. I realized that the body does not need to be broken down to heal; it needs to be invited into rejuvenated flow. By calming the nervous system and draining stagnant inflammation, we create the space for a truly effective and efficient transformation.
My Approach & Style
My journey as a massage therapist is an evolving mosaic of creativity, skill, and insight. In the early years of my practice I built a reputation for deep, therapeutic work, often relying on strong, focused pressure to release tension. But over time, I began to recognize that the body's capacity to heal isn't linear; it's a dance of peaks and valleys, requiring both strength and subtlety.
Today, my bodywork is a calculated dance, a precise integration of pressure, touch, and even temperature, designed to honor both strength and gentleness. I believe that by creating a safe, dynamic balance between these elements, we can challenge the body's natural healing to awaken in new ways. In this process, there is validity in both a strong, bold touch and a soft, guiding one, because true healing invites us to ride those waves, not force them, and to find balance in every step of the journey.
My work is rooted in the belief that human touch, when applied with skill, compassion, and respect, is one of the most powerful yet underestimated tools for healing. Massage therapy often exists as an "underdog" within healthcare, but its ability to support the body's natural healing systems is profound. I have dedicated my career to honoring that, and to meeting each personm no matter their age, background, or walk of life, exactly where they are.
Prenatal Care & Compassionate Support
I have a deep passion for helping people feel safe and comfortable in their bodies, no matter their stage of life or personal journey. Learning to feel at home within ourselves often begins by gently connecting with the more vulnerable places in our minds and hearts, and creating a space where the body feels supported, understood, and at ease.
As a bodyworker and a mother of two radiant young children, I am especially attuned to prenatal care. Through both professional training and personal experience, I understand the profound physical and emotional shifts that accompany pregnancy, labor, and the postpartum season. I offer supportive prenatal massage after the first trimester, providing relief from the demands pregnancy places on the body through intuitive touch and thoughtfully focused techniques.
Pregnancy is a sacred and transformative time. I consider it an important responsibility to support the emotional and physical expansion that occurs as you prepare to welcome new life. In some cases, I have also supported clients nearing full term through carefully applied acupressure points that may help encourage the natural onset of labor when the body is ready.
Each client who enters my practice is met with compassion, respect, and a deep trust in the body's innate wisdom. I believe every person deserves to be treated as the distinct individual they are. My intention is always to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and empowered, allowing your body to relax, restore, and move toward balance, stability, and confidence. Together, we honor your individual needs and experiences as we navigate your path toward healing and well-being.
